I've often seen people at the gym wearing headphones of a similar style, until recently though, I had never had any open ear headphones. My first pair was the V20i Soundcore headphones from Anker, and these are as good as those, in fact slightly better maybe; anyway, I'm not likely to go back to traditional earbuds now.I'm old enough to have seen headphones evolve. I have seen them go from the days of Record players, music centres, boom boxes, and the Walkman, I know the younger readers may need to consult an encyclopaedia to know what I am talking about . So these headphones are just the next step in an ongoing evolution that, like phones has seen headphones get smaller and smaller until they started coming back larger again. These though are just so light and comfortable to wear you hardly notice that you are wearing them, also much better than having an earbud stuck in your ear.Like the V20i you can use the Soundcore app with the Aerofit 2, this gives you total control over the sound with preset sound profiles, or the use of an equaliser, in fairness, you need the app to get the best out of the headphones. The app settings are pretty useful, such as defining what the touch buttons on each of the earbuds does.I also like that the The touch buttons are very responsive, and there is feedback to know that you have pressed it. These came fully charged, and the case was at 90%, it is pretty small too.I have bought a lot of stuff from Anker over the years and have never been disappointed, so I will definitely recommend these headphones, they give a good listening experience, especially if you use the companion app too.
You can use these with the app, but if you're not into downloading even more stuff, they also pair up and play just fine without it. They're very comfy and you can actually adjust the ear loop to the curve of your ear so you always have the optimum fit. They're flexible but solid, as in there's no hard plastic pinching, and you can drop them on the floor without breaking them (accidentally tested). They also passed the mosh test with flying colours, so the only way they're coming off is if you take them off yourself. This is good because unlike other wireless earbuds these don't seem to automatically pause the music on removal for me? Probably an app thing. The sound quality is great though! They're punching a little above their price range in terms of bass and immersion. They also have a good high volume, which is always a must. I went for a walk with the sound on max and I could tune everything out except close cars. I could be attacked and not even know until it was too late! Perfect. The mic quality is also surprisingly good to say they're little clip-on earbuds. They're not podcast worthy, but as long as you're not jogging down the motorway you shouldn't have any trouble answering short calls with them.Charging is super easy - just pop in the little box and power up. The box also stores up backup power for if you're out and run out of battery. Together, they hold a MASSIVE amount of charge, more than any other earbud I've tried. For the price, these are fantastic earbuds.
Comprehensive ear buds.Comfy to wear and because they are from a known quality brand, a very good sound.Well madeEasy to charge in the case and connectivity is very simple with Bluetooth.Battery life is good too
Straight out of the box these look and feel like a quality product. I've bought (with my own money!) several Anker items before, so I am incidentally aware also of their excellent customer service. The charging case is a bit bigger than normal because of the style of earbuds, but it still fits in a pocket. These earbuds fit nicely and aren't affected by the fact that I wear spectacles, which is a plus point. They connected to my iPhone quickly and without issue, and after installing the app I was immediately informed of a firmware update. Installation took about five minutes, which is half an hour or more faster than when I've had to update some other brands.I initially found the audio (plenty of volume with my iPhone, by the way) to be a bit warm for my liking, but it's fully customisable from within the app. I applied some more treble and it was perfect. These are "open ear" buds, so you can still hear what's going on around you, therefore I personally wouldn't use them outside. You might want to do that to be aware of traffic etc, but for me they're more of a "quiet room" kind of thing. My wife can barely hear any sound leaking from a couple of meters away.Battery life, if you include recharges from the case, should keep most people going for a couple of weeks use at two or three hours a day, but the case has a USB C socket so you can easily top it up with your phone charger. They're comfortable to wear, and if you don't like the sensation of putting silicon buds right into your ear but at the same time you don't want to feel totally cut off from the outside world by wearing headphones, these could be just what you're looking for.
I really love Anker soundcore products so I was really pleased to be able to try these. I always keep a set of earbuds in my bag for when I'm out and about and they have never let me down.I chose the green colour which is a sort of shiney light sage green tone, it's a bit different to black and looks very good! These are open ear style, which means that they fit over your ears and the speaker sits at the side of your ear rather than inside. They mean you have an awareness of what's going on around you so perfect to use during exercise. They have a bit at the bottom which seems to act as a way of keeping them secure while wearing. They connected to my phone pretty much instantly and just work. They fit magnetically into the charging / container case which is charged via a USB-C port. What I love about these is that you can tap the headphone to control what you are listening to. Double tap to play or pause and a single tap on either the left (volume down) or right (volume up) as needed. If you download the soundcore app you can customise things further such as the sound levels and what a single /double tap does.I think they are great and I'm so impressed. I love that I can wear these and be aware of what's going on around me so perfect for going on walks or for when I'm in the office and still need to keep an ear out for what's going on. I've been using them for the last couple of days without noticing that I'm wearing them or any pinching or discomfort around my ears AND I wear glasses!Anker soundcore products really do rival some of the high end options without the hefty cost in my opinion! These are excellent for the price point and very much recommended.
