Bought from Soundcore 12 days ago, and I have to say I am quite disappointed with the Liberty 4 Pro, 1) The first issue is the comfort - as others have commented above, these cause terrible itching in both ears after about 15-20 minutes of wear. I have tried changing various tips, but there is no difference - the same thing happens. So must be something in the material of the ear tips that is causing this. I can also get an ache after about the same time, so this basically makes them unusable for me as I like to go walking and find I have to remove them constantly for relief.
2) The Controls are very hit and miss. The pinch function often isn't correctly recognised and you end up skipping the next track if not careful, especially when trying 2 and 3 pinch actions. Next when I temporarily take these out because of the constant itching, I often end up skipping tracks as you end up pressing the stems to remove them and the same reinserting them back in your ears..
3) The Case controls for changing the ANC and other settings are very hard to use and not at all practical to use when engaging in any activity or even just walking. The case itself is very slippery to grip like a bar of soap as it has rounded edges and makes holding it whilst trying to slide the lid a bit awkward without dropping it! The lid has to be slid back to access the display and this itself has a touch bar that you double-tap or slide. The control interface is very sensitive and hard to use as it either doesn't recognise the double tap or the slide control is overly sensitive when trying to adjust the ANC levels. This is also very impractical to do when out engaging in activity or just walking as it means you have to stop everything and fiddle about with it.
4) The ANC itself is very disappointing personally - I find that in the front room with the TV on, I can still hear all the voice dialogue from the TV even with ANC on setting 9 or 10. Other modes often produce a hissing sound, which I find annoying, even with the wind reduction setting on, So I'm not at all impressed with the ANC performance at all.
The sound quality is extremely variable, depending on which sound mode your are using and more importantly which ANC setting you have as this makes a huge difference to the music quality, so can sound very poor on some ANC modes.
Overall in summary, I have to say I am really disappointed with the Liberty 4 Pro, but especially with the itching and aching of my ear canal as others have said. Sound quality is not excellent and will vary depending on ANC mode used. Practically they are hard to use given the case control design. I can't recommend these personally, and have reached out to support with a view to returning these for the above reasons as I can't use these given the problems.
